Miguel Santana is an action sports photographer/cinematographer, who loves exploring and traveling. Utilizing motion and still photography, he strives to create something unique every time he picks up the camera. This often means implementing new lighting techniques, traveling to difficult locations as well as working with athletes to think of new and innovative ways to express their athleticism. Some may say an unlikely path for a kid growing up in “The Bronx," New York City both nurtures the imagination and pushes you free from boundaries. That is where a passion for adventure and exploration, resulting in giddy anticipation to share a singular moment captured through the lens with as many people as possible, is derived. Everyday is about the chase. Not all of us are lucky enough to start off where we belong but, without the indirect navigation or the ardent struggle, does the victory taste as sweet?
